Be a Voice for Change in Charter Education at the 2025 GCSA Conference
The 2025 GCSA Conference is happening March 10-12, 2025 and we’re excited to invite a diverse lineup of speakers and sessions to inspire, empower, and connect those working to ensure quality charter education across Georgia.
Our conference sessions will focus on leadership development, tackling today’s pressing challenges, and enhancing the strategies and practices that support student and community success.
Proposal Guidelines
Session Topics
Our goal is to make the 2025 GCSA Conference an enriching experience for all attendees. As the largest gathering of charter professionals in Georgia, our agenda will be curated from proposals representing a variety of topics to address the diverse needs of our attendees. We’re looking for sessions that engage, inspire, and reflect the spectrum of work in the charter sector.
Session Formats
To create meaningful learning experiences, we offer several session formats, each allowing presenters to share insights and connect with attendees in a unique way. Need more than an hour? We can customize your session into two parts—offering a double session format with both learning and application components. You may propose sessions that extend from 1 to 2 hours, allowing time for both in-depth learning and practical application. If interested include the details in the summary portion of the application.
Interactive Learning Session
These 60-minute sessions offer structured content or development material with time for discussion and exploration. Sessions typically cover key resources, share insights, and teach best practices, engaging participants in learning around a focused topic.
Collaborative Conversations or Facilitated Panels
Designed for in-depth dialogue and idea exchange, these 60-minute sessions bring participants together to tackle complex issues. They are ideal for open-ended discussions where diverse perspectives can address shared challenges.
Workshops or Problem-Solving Sessions
In these 60-minute hands-on sessions, attendees dive into activities, role-playing, case studies, and simulations. This interactive format encourages learning through experiential activities as participants work together to address real-world scenarios.
Personal Narratives
Do you have a story that’s insightful, inspiring, or thought-provoking? Share your personal experiences, insights, and lessons in a 10–15-minute narrative. Each narrative session will bring together a group of storytellers who offer unique perspectives in charter education. Explore ideas to help you get started here.
